Shipping policy

The following Shipping Policy applies to purchases made on Martin Lion and sets clear expectations around processing, delivery, tracking, and support.

Processing times

  • Orders are processed within 2 business days; weekend and UK public holidays are excluded.

  • Daily cut‑off: 14:00 BST. Orders placed after 14:00 BST are treated as next business day.

Where we ship

  • United Kingdom: All regions and mainland addresses supported (some remote areas may require additional time).

  • International: If shown at checkout, duties/taxes are payable by the recipient unless otherwise stated.

Shipping methods and carriers

  • Carriers used: Royal Mail, Evri, DPD, and DHL.

  • Available services (shown at checkout by postcode and basket weight/value):

    • Standard (tracked)

    • Expedited/Next‑Day (where available and when ordered before the cut‑off)

    • Saturday delivery (select postcodes, carrier permitting)

Shipping costs and free delivery

  • Free UK Standard Shipping on orders of £35 or more (after discounts, before shipping).

  • Orders under £35 are charged at the live rate displayed at checkout based on carrier, service, weight, and destination.

Dispatch and delivery estimates

  • Standard UK: typically 2–4 business days from dispatch.

  • Expedited/Next‑Day: 1 business day from dispatch (cut‑off and carrier availability apply).

  • Remote areas, adverse weather, and carrier backlogs may extend delivery timeframes.

Tracking and notifications

  • A shipping confirmation email with tracking is sent when the order leaves the warehouse.

  • Tracking may take up to 24 hours to activate after carrier scan events.

Signature on delivery

  • Signature may be required for high‑value shipments at or above the signature threshold set by Atlas Global Ventures Ltd; the requirement can also be applied at our discretion to prevent loss or fraud.

Address accuracy and changes

  • Ensure the delivery address is complete and accurate at checkout.

  • Address changes can be requested before dispatch; once shipped, changes are handled by the carrier and are not guaranteed.

Delivery issues (lost, delayed, damaged)

  • Damaged parcels: photograph the outer packaging, shipping label, and item(s), and contact support within 7 calendar days of delivery.

  • Delayed or lost parcels: if tracking shows no movement for a reasonable period or the parcel is marked delivered but not received, contact support for an investigation and carrier claim.

  • Reshipments or refunds are handled after the carrier completes its investigation or at our discretion where appropriate.

Missed delivery and return‑to‑sender

  • If delivery is missed, the carrier will attempt redelivery or hold at a local depot.

  • Parcels returned to sender due to incorrect address, non‑collection, or refusal can be reshipped; a reshipping fee may apply.

Split shipments and backorders

  • Items may ship separately at no additional cost to meet delivery timelines.

  • Pre‑order/back‑order items dispatch as soon as stock arrives; the estimated window will be shown on the product page where applicable.

Shipping restrictions

  • Some carriers cannot deliver to PO Boxes or certain military addresses; if restricted, support will arrange an alternative address or cancel and refund.

  • Hazardous goods and carrier‑restricted items ship only via approved services.

Customer support

Holidays and peak periods

  • Processing and delivery may be extended during peak trade periods, sales events, or due to carrier backlogs and public holidays. Live estimates at checkout reflect current conditions.

  • This page may be updated to reflect service changes, carrier availability, or regulatory requirements.
